How my journey began

I have always enjoyed the performance aspect of working out. Just working out to try and look good has never been motivating enough for me. I’ve always needed something competitive to train for. Whether it was in high school or college my fuel for working out was always to help gain a competitive advantage in whatever sport I was playing.

After studying Sports Medicine in College, I eventually fell in love with the “sport of fitness” and my passion for fitness would lead me to open up 3 gyms in the Memphis area. My main motivation for training was so I could compete in fitness competitions at a high level, however as time went on I noticed the competitions were starting to take a toll on my body. It seemed that every time I would compete I would be left with some injury that would prevent me from being able to enjoy my training.

Soon enough I began to reevaluate my training goals. I still loved and enjoyed the style of training I was accustomed to but felt I needed to reconsider the competition aspect of it. So I started to think about other sports I could channel my training towards and do long term.

Golf had always been my “other” hobby outside of fitness, and with the popularity of some of the big bombers on tour and how everyone wants to hit the long ball now, I started to tailor my training to help me do just that.

Now I’m no where near a professional golfer overall. In fact, I’m barely even a single digit handicapper but one of the things that I have begun to do better than most pros is hit bombs and I want to help golfers of all levels do the same.

And one thing I have noticed is that many golfers are willing to spend thousands of dollars on gadgets, equipment and lessons but completely neglect the most important thing that makes you a better golfer and that is your fitness.
So what I have done is develop a fitness program that blends the very best of functional training and body building with movements specific for golf to help golfers of all different levels burn fat, add lean muscle, improve mobility, and increase power so you can improve your game, start hitting bombs and look good doing it!
